Neil and Theresa Lipetzky will buy out their partners in Community First Broadcasting. The Lipetzky’s will pay $2,550,000 each to Dean Sorenson and Duane Butt to acquire their 30% stakes with 27% of each going to Neil and 3% going to Theresa. Community First Broadcasting owns fifteen stations and four translators in northwestern Iowa and southeastern South Dakota.
NRG Media is selling its two stations in Salem IL to cluster General Manager Bruce Kropp. Kropp, through his South Central Illinois Multimedia LLC, will pay $500,000 for Full Service AC 100.1 WJBD-FM and Classic Country “Q92.1” 1350 WSIQ/92.1 W221DU Salem. Kropp has been with the stations since 1981 and has also served as NRG Media’s Director of Digital Media for unrated markets since 2011.
Advertising consultant Evan Chance’s River Radio LLC will purchase Oldies 102.9 KITY Llano and Smooth Jazz 106.5 KAJZ Granite City TX from Bryan King for $375,000.
