iHeartMedia Hip Hop “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM New York has announced the promotion of Alexander ‘DJ Prostyle’ Santelises to Assistant Program Director and Symantha Wilson to Music Director.
Santelises previously served as Music Director, mixer and midday host at the station from 2010 until 2021 when he moved to a multi-market role with the company in Florida. He would return to New York to host nights at Hot AC 103.5 WKTU in November 2023 and will continue in that role. Prior to joining WWPR-FM in 2010, Santelises previously worked at WPYO and WJHM Orlando and has served as a host and mixer for BET.

Wilson has served as a producer for the station and “The Breakfast Club” host Charlemagne’s “Black Effect Podcast Network” since 2020. In addition to serving as Music Director she will also be a producer for “The Breakfast Club”.
She said, “Stepping into these roles with The Breakfast Club and Music Director at Power 105.1 feels like a full-circle moment. This station shaped my earliest years, so joining Thea Mitchem, Eddie Fennell and Prostyle on the leadership team is an honor.”
The duo join iHeartMedia EVP/Programming Thea Mitchem and Breakfast Club APD/EP Eddie Fennell on the station’s leadership team. Fennell gives up his role as APD of WWPR-FM that he has held since 2017 with the moves.
