SiriusXM had a minor channel lineup revamp this morning that will at least temporarily move 2000s Alternative “Alt 2K” to a wider audience, while launching Contemporary Worship “Message Worship“.
The moves start with “Life with John Mayer” moving from channel 14 to channel 4 taking the location vacated by the end of “TikTok Radio” in November. Mellow Classic Rock “The Bridge” moves from channel 27 to 14. That opens up channel 27 for “Alt 2K” to move from channel 313 where it was only available on newer in-car radios.
Launching as a new channel is Contemporary Worship “Message Worship” on channel 68. A brand extension to Christian AC “The Message” (channel 65), the move pushes New Age “The Spa” from channel 68 to streaming only on channel 746.
The changes also include Kids “Moonbug Radio” (channel 136) rebranding as “CoComelon & Friends“.
