Cortona Media AAA “93.5 WRNR” 810 WYRE/93.5 W228ER Annapolis MD and 93.5 W228DI Silver Spring MD/WTOP-HD4 Washington DC has appointed outgoing “100.7 The Bay” WZBA Westminster/Baltimore General Manager Steve Borneman to the same role effective September 1.

Borneman has led WZBA since January 2022 and will be departing with the closing of the station’s sale to K-Love. Among his other roles included Chief Operating Officer for JAM Media Solutions and Pamal Broadcasting, General Manager of Shamrock’s Scranton/Wilkes-Barre PA cluster, Station Manager of 710 WOR New York and spent 23 years at ABC/Citadel/Cumulus New York rising from account executive to President/General Manager of WABC and WPLJ.

Borneman said, “WRNR is exactly the kind of radio station I believe in — local, community-focused, and committed to serving its listeners. I’m excited to join the team and look forward to helping continue that tradition.”
