License Cancellations
The FCC has issued a revocation order cancelling the license of Southwest Montana Media’s 100.9 KBOQ Lima MT. An order to pay or show cause was sent to the station in April for failure to pay $6,754.80 in delinquent regulatory fees and associated interest, administrative costs, and penalties owed for KBOQ and the cancelled 580 KANA Anaconda and 100.7 K264CZ Butte MT for 2019 and 2021 through 2023. The company never responded to the inquiry.
Red Bear Broadcasting turned in the license of their 1310 KMBS West Monroe LA.
After taking the former “Classic Country 1370” KSOP South Salt Lake UT silent in June 2025, KSOP Inc. turned in the license.
The FCC also cancelled the licenses of multiple stations that had been silent for well over one year. Those cancelled were Roy Henderson’s 92.3 WBNZ Frankfort and 99.3 WLLS Beulah MI, Shields-Adkins Broadcasting’s 93.5 KBKG Corning AR, The Waters Group’s 540 WGOP Pocomoke City MD, Flying Ant LLC’s 1360 KUIK Hillsboro OR, and CTI Media Productions’ 900 KCLW Hamilton TX.
