A pair of format changes have taken place in Honolulu.
iHeartMedia has flipped Conservative Talk 990 KIKI to Sports “Fox Sports 990“. KIKI is running the national Fox Sports Radio lineup outside of Dan Patrick and Jay Mohr. Fox Sports Daybreak will air from 12am-6am, Colin Cowherd 6-9am, Rich Eisen 9am-12pm, Steve Gorman 12-2pm, JT The Brick 2-5pm, Jason Smith 5-8pm, and Ben Maller 8pm-12am. KIKI will also be the Honolulu affiliate for Los Angeles Dodgers baseball and Tennessee Titans football, the latter due to Quarterback Marcus Mariotta being a Hawaii native.
Late last month HHawaii Media flipped Hot AC “Mix 101.1” KORL-FM Waianae/Honolulu to Oldies as “Oldies 101.1“. KORL describes itself as Oahu’s “Oldies Station” playing the Greatest Hits from the 60s and 70s with a formula of Pop, Rock and R&B and positions itself against Salem Media Classic Hits “107.9 Kool Gold” KKOL.
