For the second time in a week, Cumulus has raided the staff of Entercom Sports “95.7 The Game” KGMZ San Francisco to jump to their duo of 680 KNBR and 1050 KTCT San Francisco.
Jeremiah Crowe will leave his role as Assistant Program Director at KGMZ to become PD of “1050 KNBR” KTCT and APD of 680 KNBR. Prior to joining KGMZ, Crowe worked as a producer for ESPN Radio. In the press release, OM/680 PD Lee Hammer states that a relaunch of the 1050 signal is forthcoming. KTCT currently features CBS Sports Radio programming from 6am-12pm, a local midday show hosted by Ted Ramey, a simulcast of KNBR’s afternoon show, and then CBS and NBC Sports Radio programming at night.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed seasoned sports talk radio producer and programming professional Jeremiah Crowe as Program Director of KNBR 1050 and Assistant Program Director of KNBR 680. Crowe was previously at ESPN in Bristol, CT, and served as the producer of Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, SportsNation, NFL Countdown to Kickoff, College Gameday, RaceDay, and Fantasy Focus on ESPN Radio. Most recently, he was the Assistant Program Director of KGMZ, 95.7 “The Game” in San Francisco.
Lee Hammer, Operations Manager and Program Director for KNBR 680, said: “We’re about to re-launch KNBR 1050, and we’re excited to have Jeremiah join our programming team to lead this effort. In addition, he’ll be working closely with me on new strategic programming initiatives at KNBR 680, plus helping to expand our growing social media platforms.”
Crowe said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining two heritage stations like KNBR & KTCT, who have both been a part of the fabric of Bay Area sports scene for decades. There’s great potential to turn 1050AM into a major player within the market as we explore all options both here in the Bay Area and on a national scale. I’m looking forward to serving local fans and presenting them with a fresh perspective on the teams they love so much.”
