As the rumor mill continues to churn regarding the future of Rhythmic AC “95.7 Kiss-FM” KSSX Carlsbad/San Diego, middayer Shelley Wade is moving to sister Hot AC “Star 94.1” KMYI.
Wade will host from 2-4pm and then provide entertainment updates during Haze’s 4-8pm show. Delana Bennett, who currently hosts the 2-4pm slot will remain in her slot co-hosting mornings with 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles afternoon host Jesse Lozano. Wade spent three years at KSSX following twelve years in middays and overnights at sister CHR “Z100” WHTZ New York. She also hosts weekends on “104.3 My-FM” KBIG Los Angeles.
With Wade’s exit from KSSX following the move of PD/Afternoon Host Louie Cruz to Modesto/Stockton in March, the expected flip of the station to Urban/Rhythmic CHR seems much more likely.
