Smooth Jazz 101.9 K-High Denver Gives Way

A pending sale and an LMA leads to a format change in Denver. Bustos Media has sold Smooth Jazz “K-High” KKHI to Way-FM Media Group, who took over operations of the station at 12am on May 1. 101.9 has flipped to a simulcast of Contemporary Christian “Way-FM” 89.7 KXWA Loveland, CO. While 89.7 covers the northern portions of the Denver market, the 101.9 signal fills in a void in the southern half of the metro all the way down to Colorado Springs.

Program Director Steve Hamilton will continue to operate the Smooth Jazz format online at K-High.com.
