Clear Channel Hot AC “93.9 MIA” WMIA Miami has rebranded this morning as “My 93.9” with a new on-air lineup.
Program Director Joey Brooks moves from afternoons to mornings replacing WKTU New York’s Paul ‘Cubby’ Bryant. He’ll be followed in middays by Nataliz Jimenez who will continue to be heard in the same timeslot on sister Spanish CHR “Mega 94.9” WMGE Miami. Jimenez replaces WKTU’s Wendy Wild. Ramiro Torres, morning host at Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN Boston will pull double-duty hosting afternoons. “On With Mario Lopez” from 6-10pm and “The Rendezvous with Simon and Kim” from 10pm-12am remain in place.
The rebranding comes with a new “More Music, Better Variety” positioner and modified playlist. WMIA had dropped to a 2.3 share in the July 2014 Nielsen Audio PPM ratings making it the lowest rated music station in the market.
