Momentum Broadcasting has flipped Christian “Living Water Radio” 1270 KJUG Tulare CA to Christmas Music “My 97.5” with the addition of 97.5 K248BX Visalia.
The station is running commercial-free music through December 25, after which it will flip to AC. The leading station in the Visalia/Tulare/Hanford market is iHeart’s “Soft Rock 98.9” KSOF in the adjacent Fresno market. KJUG will give the market its own AC.
Momentum Broadcasting also owns Classic Rock 99.7 KIOO, CHR “Hitz 104.9” KCRZ, and Country 106.7 KJUG-FM in the market.

Will this move force iHeart to flip KSOF-98.9 to all-Christmas several weeks than they may have wanted to (if they were planning to), to counter K248BX-97.5??
Since the Visalia metro is significantly smaller than the Fresno metro, I don’t think that iHeart would really change its plans here.
