Flinn Broadcasting has relaunched the “Radio Pig” brand in Memphis, this time on 560 WHBQ/98.5 W253DF.
This time featuring a 1970s through 90s based Classic Hits format, the move follows the early September move of WHBQ’s Sports format to 107.5 WHBQ-FM Germantown where it replaced CHR “Q107.5“. WHBQ-FM subsequently rebranded as “107.5 The Memphis Sports Hub“.
The “Pig” and “Radio Pig” brand has been used on and off by Flinn since 2001 on multiple signals in the Memphis market mostly with a Adult Alternative format including time on 107.5 from 2002-04, 96.1 from 2004-10, 87.7 from 2010-11 and again in 2023, and 1430/97.7 in 2023-24 along with a long run as a webcaster.
