Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago has brought in Kim Berk to join Brant Miller in mornings.
Berk comes to Chicago from New York where she had been at CBS Hot AC “Fresh 102.7” WWFS until last summer. She had been paired with Jim Douglas at AC “98.3 K-JOY” WKJY Hempstead NY from 2001 to 2009 and then at WWFS until last year. Berk debuts at WLS-FM on Thursday, January 7.
Cumulus Media Chicago announces that popular morning show personality Kim Berk will join Brant Miller as Co-Host, Mornings on 94.7 WLS-FM, Chicago’s Classic Hits Station. The show, which debuts tomorrow, will air weekday mornings from 5:30-9:00 a.m.
Berk comes to Chicago from New York City, where she was Co-Host of the Kim & Kane Show on WWFS-FM from 2009 to 2015. She also co-hosted the successful Jim & Kim Morning Show on WWFS. Prior to that, the morning duo of Jim & Kim was on-air for eight years at WKJY-FM in Long Island, NY. Berk began her radio career in Cincinnati and spent several years hosting Middays at WLIR-FM in Long Island. She spent part of her childhood in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights.
