Mapleton Communications flipped Adult Standards “Magic 790” KJRB Spokane WA to Classic Rock “94.1 The Bear” at 7am on Tuesday as it signed on its new FM translator.
Launching with the normal 10,000 songs in a row commercial free, the new format is positioning as “The Rock You Know”. The new format goes up against iHeartMedia’s market leading 98.9 KKZX and QueenB Radio “Rock 94.5” KHTQ. Mapleton Spokane OM Greg Tillotson will add programming duties for KJRB.
