The launch returns the Urban format to the market for the first time since Jet Broadcasting flipped 103.9 WXIS Erwin to News/Talk in September 2016. Jason Reed, PD of CHR “Electric 94.9” WAEZ Greeneville and Alternative “99.3 The X” WEXX Elizabethton, adds those duties for WWTB.
WWTB (formerly WFHG) and W287CF had been simulcasting “Super Talk 92.9” WFHG-FM Bluff City.
