Paul Coates & Mike Huckabee’s New Directions Media Group LLC have announced their acquisition of Earls Family Broadcasting’s Branson MO stations for $6.5 million under the name Ozark Mountain Media Group.
The group had launched in 2015 with the debut of four stations in Pine Bluff AR and then expanded to the Tyler TX market earlier this year with the purchase of Waller Broadcasting.
The stations included in the deal are Hot AC “My 100.1” KOMC-FM Kimberling City, Country “102.9 The Z” KHBZ Harrison AR, Classic Country 106.3 KRZK Branson, Full Service AC 900 KHOZ/94.9 K235CE Harrison AR, and Classic Hits 1220 KCAX/98.1 K251BZ Branson. Also included are local news site HometownDailyNews.com and cable channel “The Vacation Channel“.
Tom Taylor Now adds that the company plans on making Branson their company headquarters.
