Cumulus Media Classic Rock “101 The Fox” KCFX Harrisonville/Kansas City MO has added Nycki Pace to its morning show alongside Matt ‘Sparks’ Sparker.
Pace has been part of multiple morning shows in the market over the past few decades including a decade as part of the “Johnny Dare Morning Show” on Audacy’s “98.9 The Rock” KQRC from 2015 until 2025. She has also spent time in mornings at Hot AC “E105” KFME-FM, AC “Star 102” KCKC, Variety Hits “105.1 Jack-FM” KCJK, and Hot AC “99.7 The Point” KZPT along with stints as a traffic reporter and television host in the market. She will also continue to serve as midday host on Murfin Media’s network of “The Dawg” Rock stations in Kansas.
Pace wrote, “I can’t thank Donna Baker, Jim Fox, Sparks, Pete Mundo, Kevin Kietzman and rest of the 101 The Fox / Cumulus KC team enough for being so kind and accommodating. But I’ll try. (Especially considering what I just dealt with at that joint down the street.) But seriously, to be able to have the chance to talk to you LIVE on the air again and catch up on your stories is flipping fantastic. That’s the way it SHOULD be. A wise prophet once said “Don’t Know What You Got Till It’s Gone” …Okay, maybe that was the great Tom Keifer from Cinderella…Doesn’t matter. Point is, if I can once again use this microphone to share some good with a place where I was born, raised and crawled out of a few ditches a time or two – I’m in!”
She fills the opening that had been held by Lux until her departure as part of Cumulus Media’s mass layoffs in August.
