Hearst News/Talk 1090 WBAL Baltimore has found its path to FM as the company purchases the CP for 101.5 W268BA Church Hill MD from Hope Christian Church of Marlton for $650,000.
Educational Media Foundation sells 101.5 K268AH Palm Springs CA to Marker Broadcasting for $200,000 to rebroadcast an HD subchannel of 95.9 KJJZ Indian Wells. The translator became redundant to EMF when it acquired what is now 105.1 KLXB Bermuda Dunes.
EMF is also buying in multiple areas. It will pay Audion Communications $250,000 for the CP of 104.1 KRXC Murrieta/Temecula CA to join its Christian CHR “Air 1” network.
EMF will also acquire “Christian 107.3” WCLN-FM Clinton/Fayetteville NC from Christian Listening Network for $1.2 million. WCLN-FM will join its Christian AC “K-Love” network.
Christian Listening Network also sells Southern Gospel 105.7 WGQR Rennert/Fayetteville NC to Daniel and Dorothy DeBruler for $950,000. The buyers do not own any other stations.
After selling all of their existing properties last week, Vincent Klepac’s Seaford Media will purchase AAA 94.9 WAMS-FM Newark/Ocean City MD from Miriam Media for $385,000. It was already announced that Klepac would move the Variety Hits “101.1 Jack-FM” programming of his 101.1 WSUX-FM Snow Hill MD to WAMS-FM on November 1.
Carl Tutera is giving his son Carmine Tutera an additional 1% share in Star Over Orlando Inc. to make each of them 50% partners. The group owns “Brazil Radio” 810 WRSO Orlovista/Orlando FL. Carl Tutera is also transferring 93.1 W226BT Orlando and the CP for 97.9 W250CE Kissimmee from a sole proprietorship to Star Over Orlando for no consideration.
Hope Christian Church of Marlton also sells 103.3 W277BA Millville NJ to Mega-Philadelphia LLC for $100,000. W277BA will rebroadcast Spanish CHR “Mega 105.7” 1310 WEMG Camden/Philadelphia via an HD subchannel of Townsquare Media’s 97.3 WENJ Millville.
Mark Hoppe’s Blue Wing Inc. sells Alternative 106.5 W293CS Hinckley MN to brother Gary Hoppe’s Tri-County Broadcasting for $34,000. W293CS currently rebroadcasts 101.7 WHMH-HD3 Sauk Rapids. The deal agreement states “Any or all disputes will be settled at the park Bench overlooking the Mississippi River at Hester Park”.
Louis De Sitter sells 107.1 K296GO Parkdale OR to Radio Tierra for $5 to rebroadcast the buyer’s 95.1 KZAS-LP Hood River. A previous sale to Radio Tierra in 2015 never closed.
