Cox Media Group Urban AC “Kiss 104.1” WALR Palmetto/Atlanta GA is revamping its on-air lineup with an emphasis on local shows.
Art Terrell and Roy Wood Jr’s “Drive Time Live” moves from 12-3pm to mornings as “The Morning Groove”. The duo had been in afternoon drive until the station became the flagship for Michael Baisden’s relaunched syndicated show in January. They replace Tom Joyner’s syndicated show in morning drive. Wood will continue to mostly host his portions of the show from New York as he will continue to serve as a correspondent for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
Sasha The Diva, who had been hosting 9am-12pm, will now move to afternoons in place of Baisden. The station will run jockless in afternoons for now.
