WRNB Makes Morning & Afternoon Changes
Urban One Urban AC 100.3 WRNB Media/Philadelphia PA is starting 2018 with major changes in both drive time dayparts.
WRNB has dropped the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show and local afternoon host Wendy ‘Lady B’ Clark and will replace them with a new local show hosted by Qunicy Harris in mornings and D.L. Hughley’s syndicated show in afternoons. Harris, formerly known as ‘Q-Deezy’, previously hosted nights at iHeartMedia Urban “Power 99” 98.9 WUSL and afternoons at Urban One’s “Hot 107.9” WPHI in the market. He also co-hosted the syndicated Big Boy’s Neighborhood and currently hosts a daytime talk show “The Q” at Fox’s WTXF Philadelphia.
WRNB becomes the second major Tom Joyner affiliate to drop his show since he announced his intent to retire in 2019. Cox Media Group’s “Kiss 104.1” WALR Atlanta has also replaced Joyner with a local show.
Lady B made the following statement about her exit.
