SummitMedia has relaunched its Variety Hits station in Greenville as 99.5 W258CB Greenville/107.3 WJMZ-HD3 Anderson SC has kicked out “Chuck-FM” and brought in Jack.
Chuck-FM had been with the cluster since December 2011 and was displaced from 97.7 to 99.5 in August 2016. The new “99.5 Jack-FM” will be overseen by SummitMedia Operations Manager Mike Klein.
SummitMedia’s Greenville, SC cluster announced staff changes on WJMZHD3. Effective immediately, the employee known as CHUCK is no longer employed in Greenville,SC. His replacement begins this afternoon; JACK-FM.
“We wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Operations Manager, Mike Klein. “We are jacked about this change. Jack-FM is a proven brand and the originator of the Adult Variety format. Our listeners and advertisers are going to love this station.”
Rather than just play it all, JACK is very opinionated about what is played and isn’t really all that concerned with chatter or repetition. JACK boasts an impressive resume.
