After selling all of its television properties to NBC Universal’s Telemundo, ZGS Broadcasting has sold Spanish AC “America 900” WILC Laurel MD/Washington DC to Alejandro Carrasco’s ACR Media for $700,000. Carrasco has been operating WILC via Time Brokerage Agreement since January 2016 and also owns Spanish News/Talk “1540 Radio America” WACA Wheaton MD.
William Stafford’s Route 6 Broadcasting Area Partnership is purchasing Sam Jordan’s 50% stake in Greater Corry Area Broadcasting and its Full Service Country 1370 WWCB Corry PA for $15,000 and the assumption of all debt and the station’s mortgage obligation. The deal will leave Stafford with a 90% stake in the station, while Rebecca Stafford and Ruth Meilleur hold 5% stakes each.

Public Broadcasting of Colorado acquires 106.3 K292GW Boulder CO from Mountain Community Translators for $80,000 and 101.9 K270CM Pueblo CO from the same seller for $40,000. K292GW already rebroadcasts the seller’s 1490 KCFC Boulder and K270CM carries their 1230 KKPC Pueblo. Both stations are affiliates of Colorado Public Radio’s “CPR News” Public News/Talk network.
