WTMP AM about 3 weeks ago switched from classic hip-hop to an urban oldies format primarily from the 70s – 90s with a little bit of 60s every now and then. Their station ID has dropped all mention of classic hip-hop and they are calling themselves Tampa’s heritage station. So far the times I have listened have been all automated with just a station ID at the top of the hour. On a sidenote I still find it very strange that they have had their translator on 97.5 active since last August but there is never any reference made to it.
