iHeartMedia Country 97.5 WAMZ Louisville APD/Morning Host Corey Calhoun announced his exit at the end of this week on-air this morning for a station to be named later. His co-host Amy Nic will move to afternoons to team with Jay Cruze. A new morning show will be announced later this week to debut on Monday, April 30.
Cumulus Country 95.5 WFMS Indianapolis has promoted Adam ‘Kash’ Kashner to Assistant Program Director.
Kashner has served as an weekend/fill-in host at WFMS and Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK since 2012.
Cumulus Media announces that it has promoted Adam “Kash” Kashner to Assistant Program Director for Country radio station 95.5 WFMS-FM in Indianapolis. Kashner will retain his roles as On-Air Host, Weekends/Fill-ins on WFMS-FM and on Classic Hits station 104.5 WJJK-FM. Kashner joined Cumulus Media-Indianapolis in November 2012.

“Primetime” host Chris Kroeger moves from afternoons to 10am-2pm as “Kroeger in the Midday”. Frank Garcia and Kyle Bailey will make the reverse move as they move to the 2-6pm slot.
Longtime Washington DC air personality Loo Katz launched webcaster “Hound Radio” this morning.
Katz will be accompanied by a few fellow longtime Washington personalities in entertainment reporter Arch Campbell, newscaster Sean Hall, weathercaster Tom Miner, and comedy consultant Jeff Penn for what he is branding as “Music. Chat. This & That”. Katz exited mornings at AC 97.1 WASH after seventeen years at the station last November.
Longtime Washington radio personality Loo Katz debuts HOUND RADIO, an internet-only station featuring a unique format; “Music. Chat. This & That”. It launches at 9AM eastern, Monday, April 23rd.
Katz, who in late-2017, concluded a highly successful 17-year run at WASH-FM. The last 14 of those years hosting Morning Drive. He will serve as Program Director and on-air host for HOUND RADIO. He will be joined in the all-volunteer service by veteran D.C. entertainment reporter Arch Campbell, newsman Sean Hall, weather forecaster Tom Miner, and comedy consultant Jeff Penn.
In creating HOUND RADIO, Katz wanted to develop an offering of music, entertainment, conversation, information and fun not currently available. Music heard on HOUND RADIO will feature a custom blend of hits from the 1970s through today.
HOUND RADIO is dedicated to the memory of Dixie, Katz’s beloved basset hound.
