Gary Shores said: “After 43 years in this building, 33 as PD, it’s bittersweet for me to pass the keys to a new PD, but I feel it’s time. Jerry will do a great job! He’s coming to one of the most successful Country stations in the Midwest, at #1 for over 20 years. Thanks to the awesome listeners and air-staff for that. Not only is Jerry joining a great air-staff, but a great management team, and great corporate support, too. Being from Ohio, I’m sure Jerry will feel right at home here at K100. Welcome!”
Jerry Mac said: “I am so honored to join the Cumulus-Toledo team and to help lead K100 to continued success. Gary has done such an amazing job for so many years, and I am excited that he will still be a part of the team. I know I can learn a lot from him! I’m thrilled that Andy and Bill have entrusted me with this amazing opportunity. I also thank Charlie Cook, Doug Hamand, Mike McVay, and Cumulus-Youngstown VP/Market Manager Bill Kelly for their assistance and support.. I look forward to coming back to Ohio and to working with the talented Cumulus-Toledo team for years to come. As Keith Urban says, “I’m Coming Home”.”
