The station had been simulcasting Classic Hits “Big 99.3” WTUP-FM prior to the debut of the new translator. WTUP will feature the syndicated Woody Show in mornings.
The Tupelo market lost the Alternative format when 96.3 WXWX flipped from a simulcast of “I96” WIVG Memphis TN in May.
