Entercom Sports “93.7 The Fan” KDKA-FM Pittsburgh will revise its on-air lineup starting September 4.
Chris Mack, who currently serves as pre and post-game host for the station’s Pittsburgh Pirates coverage, will move to mornings alongside current co-host Colin Dunlap replacing Jim Colony. Midday co-host Andrew Fillipponi and afternoon co-host Joe Starkey will swap timeslots as well. Starkey will join Ron Cook for “The Ron & Joe Show” from 10am-2pm, while Fillipponi joins Chris Mueller for “The PM Team with Poni and Mueller”. Paul Zeise remains in the 6-10pm slot.
KDKA-TV sportcaster Bob Pompeani will also join the station for a weekly segment on the Ron & Joe Show.
Entercom, the unrivaled leader in sports radio, announced today lineup changes for 93.7 The Fan (KDKA-FM), the flagship station of the Pittsburgh Pirates and University of Pittsburgh football and basketball. These changes are effective September 4.
The new lineup is as follows:
5:40 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: “The Fan Morning Show,” with Colin Dunlap and Chris Mack
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: “The Ron and Joe Show,” hosted by Ron Cook and Joe Starkey
2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: “The PM Team with Poni and Mueller,” hosted by Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller
6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: “The Paul Zeise Show,” hosted by Paul Zeise“93.7 The Fan sets the tone for the sports scene in Pittsburgh,” said Michael Spacciapolli, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Pittsburgh. “This new lineup elevates our sound and will engage the Pittsburgh sports fans beyond the level they have already come to expect from us.”
As part of the changes, Chris Mack, who currently hosts the station’s pregame and postgame shows for Pittsburgh Pirates broadcasts, will join Colin Dunlap as co-host of “The Fan Morning Show.” Additionally, television sports personality Bob Pompeani will join “The Ron and Joe Show” as a weekly contributor.
