On the heels of appointing Orlando Rosa as their new Program Director earlier this week, iHeartMedia has flipped Regional Mexican “105.3 El Patron” WBZY Bowdon/Atlanta GA to Spanish CHR “Z105.3“.

Now positioned as “Tu Estación Para Super Hits,” the station is featuring artists such as Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Ozuna, Romeo Santos, Maluma, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Enrique Iglesias. The new station lineup will feature Karla Rodriguez in mornings, the aforementioned Orlando Rosa in middays, Luis Trevino in afternoons, and Jessi Dee in evenings.

WBZY recently gained a full powered Regional Mexican competitor in Atlanta when Davis Broadcasting acquired 107.1 WTSH Rockmart/Rome and 107.1 W296BB Jonesboro/Atlanta and flipped it to “La Raza” in September.

iHeartMedia Atlanta announced today the debut of the new Z105.3, Tu Estación Para Super Hits, effective immediately.

Z105.3 will broadcast Spanish Contemporary Hit Music, including songs from artists such as Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Ozuna, Romeo Santos, Maluma, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Enrique Iglesias. The station will also feature the latest lifestyle and entertainment content as well as showcase Atlanta’s top local DJs.
