iHeartMedia Sports 620 WDAE St. Petersburg/95.3 W237CW Pinellas Park FL has announced that Ron Diaz and Ian Beckles will reunite in afternoons starting Monday, November 26.
Diaz, a longtime fixture in the Tampa market dating to his days as part of the Ron & Ron Show with Ron Bennington, and former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Beckles previously hosted middays until Beckles exit at the end of 2015. They along with producer Jay Recher will take over the afternoon slot that had been held by Steve ‘Big Dog’ Duemig who is currently battling cancer.
Weekend hosts Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson will move into the 12-3pm slot that had been held by Diaz and JP Peterson. Peterson has tweeted that he is no longer at the station but will be starting a podcast shortly.

620 WDAE, Tampa Bay’s Sports Radio, announced today the return of The Ron & Ian Show, effective Monday, November 26. Ron & Ian will broadcast weekday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Ron Diaz and Ian Beckles will return to 620 WDAE air-waves after three years. The Ron & Ian Show will feature entertaining, light-hearted and fun conversations about all things Tampa Bay sports related. In addition, Diaz and Beckles will co-host with Producer, Jay Recher, who will remain a key part of the program.
A Tampa Bay broadcasting fixture for over 25 years, Diaz has been nominated multiple times for Billboard Magazine’s National On-Air Personality of the Year. Beckles made his name as an NFL offensive guard with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles.
“The band is back together and it’s about time to rock,” said Diaz. “During the year that the show first began, The Lightning won the Stanley Cup. No pressure guys let’s do it again.”
“I am super excited to reunite with Ron and Jay to create The Ron & Ian Show 2.0,” said Beckles. “Tampa Bay has been begging for its return, so I hope everyone is ready.”
