iHeartMedia has quietly launched a second all-Podcast station in Albuquerque NM.
1350 KABQ Albuquerque dropped what had been the longest running Liberal Talk format in the country in late May after 15 years to flip to “iHeart Podcast 1350“. KABQ becomes the second iHeartMedia station to pickup the podcast programming following 1470 WSAN Allentown PA in March. Both stations are mostly utilizing programming that iHeartMedia gained from its purchase of Stuff Media last year.
KABQ launched its previous Liberal Talk format in 2004 as an affiliate of Air America Radio.
