The syndicated Tino Cochino Radio has lost its flagship station as Riviera Broadcasting Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3” KKFR Mayer/Phoenix has dropped the show from mornings. Cochino joined KKFR as afternoon host in January 2014 and entered syndication in 2016 with a move to mornings at KKFR following. In January 2018 he moved from KKFR employee to independent contractor but continued to be based out of the KKFR studios.
Tino Cochino Radio has also been added for late nights at iHeartMedia Urban “Real 92.3” KRRL Los Angeles in the 11pm-2am slot.
Riviera Broadcasting has also announced the addition of Ron ‘Geronimo’ Price as Program Director of Hot AC “Hot 97.5/103.9” KMVA Dewey-Humboldt/KZON Gilbert. Price previously spent fifteen years at iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP as PD and later added those duties at AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ prior to exiting in 2014.
Townsquare Media has parted was with morning hosts in Boise and Evansville.
Rick Dunn exits “Wow Country 104.3” KAWO after four years. Dunn joined KAWO in 2015 along with co-host Carly Cash after a four year run together at Cumulus Media’s “K-Bull 93” KUBL Salt Lake City where he used the on-air name ‘Shotgun Jackson’. Cash remains in place as the company begins a search for a new co-host.
In Evansville, ‘The Rob’ Hirschbuhl exits mornings at CHR “Kiss 106.1” WDKS Newburgh leaving Maddie West solo in the daypart. Hirschbuhl had been with WDKS since 2007 after previously working at “Hot 101.9” KRSQ Billings MT.
Following the move of Tati Santiago to sister Hot AC “Star 94.1” KMYI, iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 95.7” KSSX San Diego has relaunched its morning show as “Frankie V and The Jam’n 95.7 Morning Show”.
The show will still be lead by Frankie V, who joined the station at its launch in 2016 and moved to mornings in 2017. He will be joined by producer Lily Zaragoza and mixers DJ Gigi and Deejay Al as co-hosts.
JAM’N 95.7, San Diego’s Hip Hop and R&B Radio Station, introduced the new “Frankie V and the JAM’N 95.7 Morning Show.” Listeners can tune in every weekday morning from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“Frankie V and the JAM’N 95.7 Morning Show” provides listeners with more music, mixing an up-tempo energy every weekday morning. Fans can tune-in to hear entertaining features including Jamboozle, Radio Rehab and the Seven O’Clock Gridlock Mix with Deejay Al.

Max Media is searching for a promotions director to join our wining team in Denver, Colorado. This opportunity allows you to live in one of the best cities in the country, working within a modern, well-equipped, and active broadcast facility, with an award-winning team. At a minimum, but not limited to, this position will include the following:
A true manager who can grow ratings and revenue on two station brands, including KFCO, FLO 107.1 and KJHM, Jammin 101.5. This person must understand and appreciate the Rhythmic and Old School music culture. This person will direct the activities of employees and engage in the planning and execution of marketing, promotions, sales promotion and imaging campaigns. Bottomline, your number one responsibility will be to plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns designed to drive ratings and revenue.
Skills and qualifications for this position at a minimum will include the following:
- Oversees the ideation and creation of revenue generating programs and custom solutions for our clients to drive revenue
• Oversees audience growth, project management, scheduling and production of digital and social content for station sites.
• Oversees proper execution of station events, promotional project management, timelines and inventory (ie: promotional calendars / programming promotional mentions)
• Identifies, recruits, coaches and leads department to stay on top of all projects.
• Works directly with Programming and Sales to find marketing and revenue generating opportunities for each station.
• Works directly with local media and community organizations to create mutually beneficial campaigns.
• Oversees creation of marketing campaigns including print, TV, direct mail, outdoor and at work call campaigns
• Special projects as assigned- • Coordinates and attends client meetings with sellers and sales managers as needed to plan events and event logistics.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits and other street team activities from start to finish.- Drives promotional vehicles.

- Records events (i.e. photos, videos, audio and social media measures for station promotions).
- Sets up, breaks down and transports promotional event equipment as required.
- Prepares contest rules, waivers, and release forms for on air, digital, social media and other contests.
- Supervises prize inventory and in-studio prize sheets as well as awarding of prizes at events.
- May coordinate and oversee on-site appearances, remotes and events.
- May be responsible for all winner prize fulfillment and release forms.
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Contribute heavily to cluster digital performance by maintaining a talent blog, and executing directives on social media.
- Support Sales Department with proposal creation, information gathering and other sales related materials.
- Attend client meetings as needed.
