Chris Carlin has exited the 1-3pm show at Entercom Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM New York.
Carlin, who began his career at WFAN in 1995 as an intern and later served as executive producer of Mike & The Mad Dog, overnight host, and as update anchor on Don Imus’ and Boomer & Carton’s morning shows. In 2008, Carlin joined SportsNet New York where he co-hosted Loud Mouths, SportsNite, and New York Mets pre and post-game shows while continuing to occasionally fill-in at WFAN. Carlin then returned to then CBS Radio to join Sports 94.1 WIP Philadelphia hosting afternoons with Ike Reese before being part of the Mike Francesa replacement plan at the start of 2018 alongside Bart Scott and Maggie Gray. When Francesa returned a few months later, the CMB show moved to 1-3pm.
The New York Post reports that Gray and Scott will remain with the station although how the lineup will shake out is still to be determined.
Carlin continues to serve as the radio play-by-play voice for Rutgers University football, a position he has held since 2004.
