Following its $25,000 purchase of Classical 92.3 KWRZ Canyonville/Roseburg OR from the University of Oregon, Brooke Communications flipped the station to a simulcast of Sports “1490 The Score” KSKR Roseburg.
General Manager Rachelle Carter told the Roseburg News-Review, “I’m excited to have sports on an FM station. Douglas County has a lot of avid sports fans that haven’t been able to listen to our programming until now. I like that we’re able to better serve the sports community with a signal that will reach more than just Roseburg.”
KSKR mostly airs CBS Sports Radio programming plus Fox Sports’ Dan Patrick Show in mornings from 6-9am and play-by-play of Oregon State University, Portland Trail Blazers, Roseburg High School and Westwood One’s NFL coverage.
