iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 550 KFYI Phoenix has announced that James Harris will move from afternoons to mornings starting Monday, March 9.
Harris joined KFYI in January 2018 after seven yeas in afternoons at Conservative Talk 104.1 KQTH Tucson. He will fill the hole created by Mike Broomhead’s exit at the end of 2019 and subsequent move to Bonneville’s 92.3 KTAR-FM.
Replacing Harris in the 4-7pm slot will be two current KFYI staffers. KFYI Assistant Program Director Rob Hunter, who hosted the KFYI Download and served as news anchor during Broomhead’s show will co-host with Mike Russell. Russell currently hosts a weekend outdoors show on KFYI and co-owned Sports “Fox Sports 910” KGME. The duo also host a weekly show about beer “The Brewmance” on KFYI.
