Cumulus relaunched “Q105.5” WQQO Sylvania/Toledo OH with a new logo and morning show as it completes a gradual move from Hot AC to a recurrent heavy CHR.
Now branding as “Q105“, the station has added the syndicated Bert Show for mornings. Previous morning host Eric Chase moves to afternoons.
The move places WQQO back directly up against iHeartMedia CHR “92.5 Kiss-FM” WVKS. WVKS currently ranks third in the Toledo market with a 7.1 share, while WQQO holds just a 1.8 share. The 105.5 frequency has bounced back between CHR and Hot AC multiple times over the past decade, most recently when shifting to Hot AC and rebranding from “Star 105” to “Channel 105.5” to “Q105.5” over a few months in 2016.
