iHeartMedia has flipped Sports “930 The Game” WFXJ Jacksonville FL to Gospel “Hallelujah 930“.
Also airing on 93.3 WJBT-HD2, the move comes months after iHeart removed WFXJ from FM via its former translator 97.3 W247CF Orange Park, which flipped to Regional Mexican “97.3 El Patron” last May. WFXJ had featured a simulcast of Mike Bianchi’s morning show from WYGM Orlando and Fox Sports Radio programming the remainder of the day.
The new format on WFXJ creates a competitor to Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting’s “Praise 107.9” W300CU, which is fed via iHeart’s 97.9 WKSL-HD3. W300CU has a 2.3 share in the December 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings.
