Lightner Communications has purchased 1380 WTYM/103.7 W279DN Kittanning PA from Family-Life Media-Com Inc. for $70,000.
Lightner, who also owns seven signals near and around Altoona, began operating the former Conservative Talk station via LMA in December with Christmas Music. After a few weeks of stunting to promote a listener survey to determine the next format, the station flipped on Monday to Classic Hits “103.7 The River“.
The new format is positioning as “The Greatest Hits of All Time” and utilizing programming from Local Radio Networks.
