Cumulus Media CHR 97.5 WABD Mobile has promoted Zöe McMahan to Program Director and afternoon host.
McMahan has held multiple roles during her four years with the Cumulus Mobile cluster starting as a promotions assistant and later serving as an account executive and regional sales assistant. She also had been hosting middays on WABD and sister Rhythmic CHR “Hot 94.1” WMEZ Pensacola.
She shared, “Just over four years ago, I wondered down the radio rabbit hole and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience I’ve had. I’ve gotten to learn from some of the best in the business first hand and I continue to learn everyday. I grew up listening to this station everyday, and I could not be more excited to be trusted to run the WABD ship. Radio is still the most cool thing ever, keep your dial set to 97.5.”
McMahan fills the opening created by Cami Marlowe’s exit in August layoffs August layoffs after eight years at WABD.
