After less than four months at St. Barnabas Broadcasting Conservative Talk 1320 WJAS/99.1 W256DE Pittsburgh, Wendy Bellis off the schedule as late morning host.
St. Barnabas Health System’s Director of Marketing Michele Bradac told WPXI-TV that Bell’s removal was a “personnel matter” and that “until the company and she resolve their personnel matter, there’s no way to say” what will happen next.
Bell joined WJAS in late January to host a one hour show from 11am to 12pm, but soon-after was extended to 9am to 12pm. She previously hosted afternoons at 1020 KDKA until being fired last September following a listener and advertiser backlash to comments she made. She also spent 18 years in the market at WTAE-TV as an anchor before being fired for racist comments made on Facebook.
WJAS has restored Glenn Beck to the 9am-12pm slot that he had prior to the addition of Bell.
