Cumulus Media AC “B98.7” KBEE Salt Lake City has cut ties with morning hosts “Val & Mike” Valerie Cameron and Mike Parsons.
Parsons had been with Cumulus Salt Lake City since 2013 first serving as Program Director at Variety Hits “Trax 101.9” KENZ before moving to KBEE in 2015 first as afternoon host and then quickly joining Cameron in mornings. He has also previously spent time as APD at “Arrow 103.5” KRSP and had an earlier stint as MD of KBEE in the 1990s. Parsons has also programmed KIOT, KMGA, KOB-FM, and KPEK in Albuquerque and served as OM for Clear Channel Twin Falls ID.
Cameron has been in mornings at KBEE since May 2015, first with former Program Director Dain Craig, and then Parsons. She also works as a film critic, co-hosts multiple movie podcasts and previously served as Promotions Director for “Radio Disney 910” KWDZ Salt Lake City and Cumulus Salt Lake City.
