SuiteRadio has announced it is launching a new morning show hosted by veteran radio and television personality Todd Newton and Maria Todd.
Newton, who is best known for his long run as anchor of E! News and hosting many game shows including Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck, Family Game Night, and the live tour of Price Is Right, began his career in his native St. Louis hosting nights on “Q104” WKBQ as ‘Rikk Idol’. He would later launch and host afternoons on the ill-fated “Blink 102.7” WNEW New York and spent a year in midday at CHR “96.3 Now” KNOU St. Louis in 2015-2016.
Maria Todd has spent the majority of her career in Houston with fourteen years at 104.1 KRBE from 1992 to 2006 and at “Mix 96.5” KHMX in 2010-2011. She has also spent time at WKSE Buffalo, KHKS Dallas, KMVQ San Francisco and has worked for SuiteRadio since 2016.
SuiteRadio has also announced it is moving its ad representation to Key Networks.
The Houston-based radio syndication company is expanding its daypart lineup to include a schedule of high-end shows with accomplished and authentic personalities.

Todd Newton is plugged in to entertainment culture and has ruled the airwaves as a personality on stations from WKBQ/St. Louis, to WNEW/New York and KIIS-FM/Los Angeles. He’s the accomplished author of two books, the award-winning “Life In The Bonus Round,” his autobiography, and “The Host With The Most: Tales Of A Tattooed Television Personality.” All proceeds from his books benefit Parkinson’s Disease research.
