Civic Media continues its rapid growth across Wisconsin with the acquisition of 1100 WISS Berlin/98.3 W252DR Oshkosh from Thomas Boyson’s Hometown Broadcasting for $700,000. WISS/W252DR currently simulcast Hometown’s Oldies “The Bug” 102.3 WAUH Wautoma. The buyers agreed to purchase 1230 WXCO/98.9 W255DN Wausau and the duo of 1450 WRCO/107.7 W299CD and Country 100.9 WRCO-FM Richland Center in two separate deals earlier this month. The FCC filing notes Civic Media will also be acquiring Heart of Wisconsin Media’s Full Service Oldies 1320 WFHR/97.5 W248DE Wisconsin Rapids in a deal to be filed shortly.
TBTA Ministries sells 89.7 WJHO Alexander City AL to the Kevin Moon led Volunteer Broadcasting for $65,000. Volunteer already operates WJHO as Classic Rock “89.7 The Classic“.
Gregory Herrman’s Dynamic Media acquires William Doerner’s SportsRadioCC’s Sports 1230 KSIX Corpus Christi TX for $200,000 and its translator 95.1 K236CM Corpus Christi from Doerner directly for $100.
Joe Lodanosky and Joe Vilkie’s J2 Media purchases 1120 WKQW/104.1 W281CA Oil City PA from Twilight Broadcasting for $38,000. The buyers began operating WKQW via Time Brokerage Agreement in March.
Neal and Amie Preston’s Asha Faith James Company purchases Country 102.5 KCNQ Kernville and Classic Rock 104.5 KRVQ-FM Lake Isabella CA from Alta Sierra Broadcasting for $250,000.
Iglesia Cristiana Restauracion y Vida will convert its LMA of 1490 KLNT Laredo TX into a purchase from Carlos Lopez for $100,000.

Advanced Media Partners expands its Peoria IL holdings with the purchase of 104.3 W282BS Dunlap from LSE Broadcasting for $50,000. W282BS will transfer from rebroadcasting Christian Preaching 103.3 WLSE Canton IL to AMP’s “98.5 Kiss-FM” WPIA Eureka.
Ondas de Vida trades 107.9 K300CW Indio CA to La Nueva Broadcasting for 99.1 K256BS Palmdale CA. Both translators rebroadcast Ondas de Vida’s Spanish Christian 89.1 KODV Barstow.
