Hubbard Radio has announced the appointment of Keith Lawless as VP/Market Manger for their Chicago properties overseeing Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” 97.1 WDRV/96.9 WWDV, 90s/2000s “The New 100.3” WSHE, and Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX..
Lawless exited Cox Media Group last August after a 25 year run in Tampa where he rose up the ranks serving as General Sales Manager for Alternative “97X” WSUN-FM from 2000-05, General Manager of WSUN-FM, Hot Talk “102.5 The Bone” WHPT, and Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL from 2005-09, VP/Market Manager from 2009-21, and then Regional Vice President overseeing Tampa and Houston until his departure. Prior to Cox, Lawless held sales and management positions at Clear Channel, Paxson Communications, Reier Broadcasting and Gross Communications.
Lawless succeeds Jeff England, who steps down. England had led Hubbard Chicago since October 2016.
Hubbard Radio Chair/CEO Ginny Hubbard Morris, today announced that Keith Lawless was named VP/Market Manager for Hubbard Radio-Chicago. Hubbard Radio operates four radio stations in Chicago: WTMX 101.9 FM (The Mix), WDRV 99.7 FM/WWDV 96.9 FM (The Drive) and WSHE 100.3 FM. Chicago is the largest market in the Hubbard Radio portfolio.

Lawless is a 33 year veteran of the radio industry and spent the last 25 years of his career with Cox Media Group, most recently as Regional Vice President overseeing Houston, TX and Tampa, FL. Prior to that and during his tenure, he held the positions of Account Executive, National Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, VP/General Manager and VP/Market Manager. Prior to his time with Cox Media Group, Lawless held various sales and management positions with Clear Channel Communications, Paxson Communications, Reier Broadcasting and Gross Communications. Lawless is a graduate of the University of South Florida.
