LMS Group will acquire 1310 WDXI Jackson/103.5 W278CL Savannah TN from Gerald Hunt Jr’s Hunt Communications LLC for $400,000 with an LMA. The purchasing group includes Terry Story holding a 50% share and Larry Lowrance and Steve Murphy each owning 25%. Lowrance also owns a 20% stake in Conservative Talk “News Talk 96.5” WBFG Parkers Crossroads TN, which rimshots Jackson from the east. While the LMA contract stated it would commence on October 1, WDXI/W278CL flipped from Oldies “Kool 103.5” to a simulcast of WBFG on Monday. Hunt retains “Kool Mixx 103.1” WMXX-FM Jackson and Country “101 The Worm” 101.7 WORM-FM/1010 WORM Savannah TN.
Michael Dukes’ Peninsula Radio Group will acquire the five stations and nine translators of David Becker’s Peninsula Communications Inc. in Southern Alaska for $1.1 million. Included in the purchase are Conservative Talk “620 The Answer” KGTL Homer, Conservative Talk 840 KPEN Kenai, Classic Hits “99.3 K-Bay” KXBA Nikiski, Country “101.7 True Country” KPEN-FM Soldotna, and Alternative “103.5 The Wave” KWVV-FM Homer. Dukes hosts a Conservative Talk show that airs in mornings on stations in Alaska including KGTL and KPEN.
After closing on its $100 purchase of 700 WARB/105.9 W290DG Dothan AL last month, Reginald McDaniel’s Soul1st Music LLC is turning around and selling the station to Moshiu Knox’s Knox Media Group Inc. for $40,000. Knox operates Gospel 1500 WKAX Russellville/105.1 W286DV Florence AL/WMXV-HD3.
The bankruptcy trustee of D&H Broadcasting LLC sells Adult Rock “93.9 The Lake” KRLT and Conservative Talk 1490 KOWL South Lake Tahoe CA to Robin Rothschild’s Rothschild Broadcasting for $275,000. The buyer has previously owned stations in Vermont and Salisbury MD.
Christie Tate’s E Radio Network continues its growth with the purchase of 99.1 KFAH Pineland TX from James Lout for $30,000. E Radio Network recently closed on its purchase of five stations and four translator from the bankruptcy sale of the assets of Robert Delgiorno. Lout retains AC 107.3 KJAS Jasper TX and 98.3 KDLA New Llano LA. KFAH currently simulcasts KJAS.

Common Frequency Inc. is acquiring four non-commercial Construction Permits. Common Frequency will acquire 90.1 Big Sur CA from Central Coast Media Education Foundation, 90.9 Santa Nella CA from Free Radio Santa Nella, 91.3 Coalinga CA from Coalinga Public Broadcast Service, and 89.1 Packwood WA from The Interest Compound for no consideration. All four signals are Class A’s.
