The Voice Radio Network has launched a second Spanish language brand in Trenton NJ with the debut of Regional Mexican “La Raza 98.5” 920 WNJE/98.5 W253DG Trenton.
The station joins Spanish CHR “Maxima 92.9” 1460 WIFI Florence/92.9 W225DJ Burlington in the company’s Trenton holdings. W253DG had been simulcasting WIFI until Voice agreed to acquire WNJE from Townsquare Media for $133,000 in July. Townsquare took the former “920 ESPN” silent at the end of 2023 ahead of plans to sell the station.
