Mid-West Family Broadcasting Rock 107.1 WIRX St. Joseph/Benton Harbor MI has begun simulcasting on the former Classic Rock “Z94.3” WZOC Plymouth/South Bend IN.
WZOC had telegraphed the change with its call letter change to WYRX-FM in mid-December. Mid-West Family Southwest Michigan/South Bend Director of Programming & Content Bill Gamble will serve as PD. The move will see WIRX add the syndicated Bob & Tom morning show that had been carried by WZOC. WIRX afternoon host John Cruz will move to middays as “The Plan B Show” hosted by Brock & Kiki Havens shifts from mornings on WIRX to afternoons. The Greg Beharrell Show is added for nights and “Classic Rock U” with Adam Reader on weekends.
The flip took place at 7pm this evening.
