Cumulus Media has made a Market Manager change in Des Moines as Jack Taddeo exits after seven years and is replaced by Adam Dobbins.
Dobbins joins Cumulus from Walnut Media in Omaha where he was Walnut Media in Omaha as Director of Sales. He has also served as a Senior AE for NRG Media Omaha and account executive for Rural Radio Network in West Point NE. He has also been Director of Athletics Marketing for Wayne State College in Wayne NE.
Cumulus Media President of Operations Bob Walker said, “We are excited to welcome Adam to Cumulus Des Moines as this is a homecoming for him, having grown up in Des Moines and being a fan of our brands. Adam is an accomplished leader that is passionate about connecting local clients to the power of radio and the digital products we offer to help them grow their business.”
Dobbins said, “Having grown up in Des Moines, I always admired the iconic local brands that Cumulus represents. My passion for the media industry has only increased over the years and I am truly excited to return home and collaborate with this team to leverage our audio and digital assets in driving results for our marketing partners.”
He replaces Taddeo, who had held the role since July 2018. Taddeo has previously served in many programming and management roles during his career including programming 93.9 WLIT Chicago, serving as SVP/Programming for SFX Broadcasting, Capstar, and Clear Channel, and General Manager for Entercom Norfolk and NextMedia and Matrix Broadcasting in suburban Chicago. He has also owned stations in Illinois and Wisconsin and ran his own consultancy.
