Jaxon Returns To Alt 104.5 Philadelphia

iHeartMedia Alternative " Alt 104.5 " WRFF Philadelphia is bringing Paul Jaxon back to the market to host middays starting Tuesday, January 20. Jaxon most recently served in the dual role of morning host at Classic Rock “Big 100” WBIG-FM Washington from September 2023 and then adding middays at WRFF in March 2024</a until exiting in a round of cuts in November 2024. Jaxon is best known in Philadelphia for his eighteen years in afternoons at Rock 93.3 WMMR from 2004 to 2022 and has also hosted mornings at WFNX Boston, KBPI Denver, and KURR Salt Lake City as well as nights at WHJY Providence in his career. With his return to WRFF, the station will also resurrect his "Post Modern Radio 104.5" focusing on Alternative hits from the 1980s to early 2000s in the 12pm hour. Jaxon commented, “I’m back where I belong. I’m fired up to be rejoining Dustin Matthews and the Alt 104.5 family in Philadelphia. After two decades on the Philly airwaves, I’ve learned one thing — stepping away never lasts long.
