Audacy has announced that David Yadgaroff has retired as SVP/Market Manager of its Philadelphia cluster
Yadgaroff has led the cluster for CBS Radio and Audacy since August 2015. He originally joined the cluster in 1995 as General Sales Manager for News 1060 KYW. After a two year stint from 2001 to 2003 as GSM for Greater Media Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK, Yadgaroff returned to CBS as Local Sales Manager, VP/Director of Sales, and General Manager of KYW, while also taking on the role at various times for Talk 1210 WPHT, Rock 94.1 WYSP, and Classic Hits 98.1 WOGL.
He commented, “Leading these iconic stations has been a great privilege and working alongside our team has been the most rewarding part of my journey. Our team has consistently delivered unique, compelling content, embraced meaningful evolution, and made a real difference for our communities, our advertisers and one another. I am incredibly proud of the people in the Philadelphia radio market and across the country, whom I’ve had the opportunity to hire, train and mentor. Watching their growth and success has been a joy. After an extraordinary run of dedicating myself to radio and my colleagues for decades, it feels like the right time to step away and take time for myself, spend more time with family and friends, pursue new opportunities and contribute to organizations in meaningful new ways. I leave with deep gratitude and confidence in the future.”

I am writing to share that after 36 extraordinary years with us, David Yadgaroff has decided to retire as SVP and Market Manager of Audacy Philadelphia.
Since beginning his career in programming and promotions, Yad has built a lasting legacy of mentorship, community enrichment, and operational excellence. He cares deeply about the community he serves, which is evidenced by the great results our teams produce, and through his involvement with such organizations as Beyond Celiac, Penn State, the Police Athletic League, the Philadelphia Ad Club, the PA Association of Broadcasters and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Corporate Council.
A true broadcast legend, Yad has been recognized many times in the industry, including as a Radio Wayne Manager of the Year finalist, a Marconi Radio Manager of the Year finalist, and a Radio Ink Top Manager. In late 2025, he was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame.
Yad will be with us through the end of May as we work on setting up a smooth transition for the Philadelphia team and our partner relationships within the community.
Kelli and I have valued working with David, and while we will miss his leadership, we wish him a great retirement.
