Cox Media Group has appointed former Audacy Sacramento SVP/Market Manager Aaron Miller as Director of Sales for its Tampa cluster.

Miller led the Audacy Sacramento cluster from October 2024 until the company’s restructuring earlier this month. He began his career in his native Elizabeth City NC at Thompson Publishing Company’s The Daily Advance newspaper before moving to The Progress Index in Petersburg VA. He joined then Clear Channel Rock “XL 102” WRXL Richmond as an account executive in 1996 before moving to the company’s Orlando cluster from 1998 to 2010 where he eventually rose to General Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager. He would first join Cox Tampa in 2010 as GSMN for for 102.5 WHPT and 107.3 WXGL until joining Audacy Phoenix as Director if Sales in 2019.

Miller will lead CMG Tampa’s sales organization with a focus on strengthening sales strategy, supporting and developing talent, and driving revenue across CMG Tampa’s radio, digital, and streaming platforms.
